“La Joya”** Hotel is born on January 29 of the year 1992 as a result of a family undertaking that began with the husband and wife: Cnl. PNSP Eufronio Amurrio Olmos and Mrs. Marina Ordoñez de Amurrio.

This organization of hotel and tourism services originates in the owners’ aspirations to provide this very traditional area of La Paz which is Gran Poder - Garita de Lima with a modern lodging center that can have all the commodities so as to offer quality and first class service to travelers arriving from all over the world and from other regions of the country, who in turn are interested in becoming acquainted with the Andean-Paceño customs and folklore or simply interested in carrying out other activities in the “City of the Illimani”.

“La Joya”** Hotel, which has been ranked as a two star hotel by the Bolivian Institute of Tourism (IBT), is a “Lodge” capable of receiving with functionality passengers visiting the city of “Our Lady of La Paz” for business reasons or for tourism.
